Years ago our family started taking one day a week to rest. We were constantly busy and burning out quickly. Something had to change. We needed to survey our options and see where cutting back was most feasible.  Learning the art of saying no to others and being commitment free one day a week became imperative. We tried to focus on spending quality time together, as well as seizing the opportunity to do as much of nothing as possible.
